All Cummins Power Generation, Engine and Filtration parts can be stored under one roof thanks to a new and larger warehouse. Cummins Power Generation Parts has completed the integration of the new facility at Cummins Global Logistics in Rumst, Belgium. The new site considerably expands the available warehousing space, allowing for increased parts stocking – a crucial step in meeting the accelerating growth in demand for Cummins products in the EMEA region.
“The opening of the new facility signals our ongoing commitment to grow the parts business and to support enhanced parts availability throughout EMEA,” commented Ray Cameron, Cummins Power Generation EMEA Parts Manager. “It’s an exciting time for Cummins Power Generation Parts in EMEA.”
The new warehouse marked the final stage of its integration in February 2011. Its location at Rumst in Antwerp Province is only about 10km from the previous site in Mechelen, but the Rumst facility is larger than its predecessor, providing 42,000 m2 of storage space and containing in excess of 50,000 parts line items at a total value of over US $85 million.
