Cummins Sales and Service Korea (CSSK) held a G-OEM Seminar in April 2011, hosting major corporate clients at Angseong Lake Hills in Gyeonggi-do Province.
The successful seminar garnered attendance from 13 major domestic clients, alongside representatives from Cummins Power Generation Asia-Pacific. Besides showcasing new products, this was a valuable opportunity for attendees to keep abreast of developments in the generator sector, and to network ideas and enhance competitiveness of local and overseas manufacturing industries.
The event showcased Cummins capabilities in delivering a “generator power package” that integrates products, solutions and after-sales support, all featuring the green mark.
In his opening speech, CSSK CEO Mr Park Hyun-Gyu stressed on Cummins’ undisputed strengths and position as the market leader in the generator business. With the ongoing partnership with Cummins, CSSK is able to service clients ranging from small to large enterprises.
Presentations by Alok Joshi, G-Drive Director of Cummins Global Business division, Don Puar, Director of Cummins Asia Pacific, and Anderson Lim, Manager of Cummins Northeast Asia, further reinforced Cummins’ capabilities and standing as a “one-stop” power brand. Topics covered include updates on new products, Total Power Solutions, gas generators, CoolPac engines with radiators, and PowerBox 20X product.
The strong attendance again proves the importance of Korea as a business sector for Cummins. Anderson Lim, Manager of Cummins Northeast Asia remarked, “Korea is a major market in the Asian generator sector. We are performing well in the high-output generator sector. Cummins Global will support Korean clients by continuously investing in The Power of One™ lineup we introduced today, and in the development of new products. I am looking forward to good results in the small generator market over the next five years.”
