An impressive turnout of 800 attendees were present at the DataCenter Dynamics Converged (DCD) Singapore 2012 conference. The one-day event featured expert speakers from around the globe, an abundance of networking opportunities and a wide variety of topics on the effective execution of data center strategies. One of the featured speakers of the event was Cummins Power Generation’s Darrell Phillips, Segment Manager for Critical Protection, who discussed Tier 2 diesel engines and data center generator set reliability. The highlights of the presentation include emission control technology and methods to improve the reliability of generator sets.
A silver sponsor of DCD Singapore 2012, Cummins Power Generation also had a booth at the show, displaying case studies and white papers relevant to the data center industry. Several of the data center projects from around the world that Cummins has provided power solutions for were also highlighted at the booth.
Cummins’ attendance at the show, which was held Oct. 18 at Marina Bay Sands, proved to be a major success and once again asserted Cummins Power Generation as a leading manufacturer of quality generator sets and other power system components that are reliable, highly efficient and that work together seamlessly through The Power of One™.
